This role is in the following region: Xinzhuang industrial Park, Minhang, Shanghai, China
As Process Engineer, you will design the best process for product, operation method, provide related technical supporting and make related technical document.
Your key responsibilities:
New project phase:
1. Product function, process feasibility assessment and process routing design.
New material recommendation/application/process technology discussion with sales or customers.
2. New product evaluation, drawings, and providing DFM if necessary.
3. Participate in the whole process of new project about tooling design/development, fixture design and debugging.
4. Provide specific RFQ data for the project (such as: evaluation and analysis of production capacity, manpower, equipment, fixture, etc.)
5. Lead the sample making and trial run of production process for new products, solve problems in time.
6. Prepare and modify related documents ( SOP/WI, Flow Chart, PFMEA, etc.)
7. Participate in the review of process documents to ensure integrity/correctness /consistency.
8. Confirm all relevant information of products, lead the production process of new projects. Identify the risks of HSF about product, packing and transportation process.
Mass production phase:
1. Fixture assessment and application. Design and confirmation improvement of fixture.
2. Manufacturing cost analysis and improvement: material cost, labor cost,
reasonability analysis.
3. Process improvement and optimization: improve production efficiency and reduce waste of materials.
4. Production process yield improvement: specify improvement plans and measures; take full responsibility for improvement verification and engineering changes.
5. training the operators monitor and inspect the status of process.
6. Provide technical support online, solve process and quality problems in the production process, analyze the root cause and propose/take actions.
7. Assist product BOM maintenance and review.
8. Assist quality engineers to solve client complaints, analyze problems and improve quality.
9. Responsible for review, revision, and implementation of the department's procedural documents.
Others:
1. Assist in new product development and validation work with RD.
2. Participate in the system audit process and provide relevant document support.
3. Undertake the safety responsibilities of this position, fulfill the safety production obligations, and ensure safety production.
4. Introduction and implementation of new technologies and processes.
Qualifications:
College degree or above, mechanical related major is preferred.
3 years of experience in die cutting related industry.
3 years of process improvement experience, understand IE seven techniques, 6 sigma, etc..
Proficient in Office, Auto CAD, SolidWorks.
Good English writing and reading skill, CET-4 or above is preferred.
Strong product problem analysis ability and logical thinking.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Have strong quality awareness, quality analysis ability, familiar with quality management system, and quality tools.
Have a good sense of teamwork, sincere, passionate, have a strong sense of accountability and proactive work attitude.
